If I had any sort of counter space and hadn't already put a mag-strip on my wall, I would totally want one of these. Pictures do not do its awesomeness justice. Instead of slots, this knife block is filled with plastic fiber, so you can put any shape in any direction. If you have not yet outfitted your kitchen stuff and don't have $200+ to drop on a quality set, this is the way to go. I mean, you can overspend on a cheap block set with a bunch of crappy knives or spend the same amount on a Kapoosh and a few quality pieces and not hate it every time you want to slice or chop something. Plus, it's totally fun to say out loud. Kapoosh!

B got a shiny new santoku last night, and I made him go grocery shopping and chop vegetables after dinner. "Doesn't that just feel better?" He's stepping it up so we can have fun in his kitchen. I suppose I should really clean mine. But first I'm going to hone my knives, because it's been too long. That is one big drawback of having my knives on a mag-strip and my steel in a drawer.
